In this joint project, a modular Parkinson Disease exergame system in the form of an experimental test environment is to be designed, which will enable the testing and further research of non-pharmacological therapy concepts. Based on the medical requirements for PD, novel speech-and-gesture-based interaction concepts (module PD interaction); sensor-based, device-independent controllers (PD sensor technology); and also concepts for data acquisition, data storage, and data analysis (PD analysis) will be developed. A test environment of training concepts will be developed, combining movement and cognitive aspects with motivational, playful aspects.
