The aim of the project is to create an open, marketable product information system for consumers . Consumers should be provided with comprehensive and convenient product information. The project is intended to create a food guard that can detect unhealthy ingredients, such as fat and sugar, at first glance. A mobile app is to be used for this purpose so that consumers can simply scan in a product by barcode and be informed immediately. In addition, the app is to suggest healthier alternatives that deliberately cater to a similar taste as the calorie-rich option. To start with, more than 4,000 products will be recorded and processed as part of the research project.
