The AAL project NeuroCare addresses the topic “assisted care of tomorrow” for the target group “seniors with impending or existing cognitive impairments and neurological diseases” (e.g., patients with dementia – especially Alzheimer’s dementia – and patients who have had a stroke) as well as persons who want to pursue prevention. This project is being developed in an interdisciplinary network consisting of seniors and care service institutions. Within the project, Ascora GmbH is creating an innovative system for the mobile implementation of the screening process. The core of the NeuroCare system is a mobile multifunctional device (NeuroCare Assistant), which can be used by nursing staff for data collection and documentation.
