The aim of the ACCEPT project is to develop a construction assistant – based on smart glasses – that continuously checks the quality and processes of a construction project. A major problem in today’s construction industry is that the advantages of energy-efficient components are wasted because knowledge about them is simply not available or because the parts are installed incorrectly. The assistant is worn as smart glasses and supports the construction workers without hindering them in their daily work. A standardized and coordinated process on the construction site is thus made possible, and correct use of the components is ensured. Fatal gaps in knowledge are reduced and the overall quality on construction sites is improved.
